Medical
We offer 100% paid medical benefits for employees, including dependent coverage.
In 2014, Rebecca Melone founded Melone Hatley, PC, with a straightforward belief: good people dealing with family law and estate planning issues deserve clarity, not confusion. Family law and estate planning are complicated; emotionally, financially, and legally. Our job is to cut through that complexity and provide clients with a clear path forward to protect their families, finances, and futures.
That same philosophy guides how we build our team. We avoid unnecessary layers, bureaucracy, or office politics. We believe a company runs best when people are trusted, respected, and empowered to do their best work, without the noise getting in the way.
If you're someone who sees complexity and instinctively looks for a better, simpler way forward, you'll fit right in here.
We offer our attorneys the opportunity to choose their own path to growth. Whether you are interested in remaining in litigation or moving into management, we have curated career paths that will meet your needs.
We offer 100% paid medical benefits for employees, including dependent coverage.
Plan for your future with a 401(k) retirement plan and employer matching.
We provide dental, vision, and life insurance to protect you and your family.
Enjoy paid time off, paid parental leave, and flexibility to recharge when you need it.
Every search begins with a phone call from one of our recruiters. They will want to learn about your experience and what you are looking for. If it looks like a good match, you will meet our hiring managers for about 45 minutes, in person or over video, to talk through your background and your goals. Most roles include a short writing sample, since strong writing is part of the work here. Paralegals, legal assistants, and some attorneys also come in to meet the team before we make an offer.
We aim to keep the process moving and follow up with candidates promptly after interviews.
Family law experience is strongly preferred for our attorneys and paralegals. For other roles, it helps but is not required. If our work interests you, we want to hear from you, whatever your background.
It depends on the role. Some positions are on-site, and others can be remote or hybrid. We are happy to go over the details for the position you have in mind.
Rebecca built this firm around respect and autonomy for every employee, because people who are treated well treat clients the same way. It is one reason Melone Hatley has been named a CoVaBiz Best Places to Work.
