Melone Hatley attorneys from our Texas offices attended the 50th Annual Advanced Family Law Course for one of the nation’s premier continuing legal education events for family law professionals: the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Founded in 1960, the Family Law Section is the third-largest Section of the State Bar of Texas, boasting over 6,000 members statewide. The Section remains dedicated to advancing the knowledge, skill, and professionalism of family law attorneys while fostering collaboration and support within the legal community.

About The Family Law Section of the State of Texas Bar: The Family Law Section was created by the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors in 1960. It is the third-largest section at the present time. Membership is voluntary and is open to any licensed attorney in Texas. The Family Law Section currently has about 6,098 members. Membership cards or certificates are not issued to members.
