Attorney Bio
Jim joined the firm as a Litigation Attorney in August 2021. He has been in legal practice for almost 20 years following a 22 year career as a naval intelligence officer. Jim is an experienced litigator both in family law matters as well as in criminal and civil litigation matters. Jim has practiced before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Region of Virginia as well as in the state courts throughout Virginia. Jim’s dedicated experience in the legal field and military have afforded him a strong sense of customer service and loyalty to his clients. He prides himself on taking a client-centered approach to his cases.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Jim has traveled the world while on active duty before settling in Hampton Roads nearly 40 years ago. He has been married to his wife Jan for 33 years. Jim has 3 adult children and two granddaughters.
