Stephen Lukacs

Stephen M. Lukacs joined the firm in 2022 as a Litigation Attorney. Stephen brings years of investigations experience and compliance work to set clients up for success before court proceedings. As a former investigator, Stephen understands the need for facts and evidence to benefit Melone Hatley’s client-centric practice model.

Originally a native of Stafford, Virginia, Stephen has lived with all Virginians from the mountains of Appalachia to the greater Richmond area, and now to Virginia Beach. Whatever issue has brought you to Melone Hatley, Stephen has experienced it himself or lived with those who have. Stephen earned his Juris Doctor form the Appalachian School of Law in 2015 and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with degrees in political science and philosophy.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his Wife, Amanda and young Son, Stephen Brian. Stephen volunteers his time with video game developers as a play tester and moderator.
