Attorney Bio
Victoria Terry, Esq. is a litigation attorney serving clients in Melone Hatley, P.C.’s Richmond, VA office, where she represents individuals in divorce, child custody, and support matters. She brings more than a decade of courtroom experience to her family law practice, with a strong command of courtroom procedure, evidentiary analysis, and strategic advocacy developed through years of high-stakes litigation.
Before transitioning into private practice, Victoria spent several years as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, prosecuting cases involving violent crime, financial exploitation, and offenses affecting vulnerable individuals. She has also served as a judicial clerk and legal extern to judges of the Virginia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Victoria is known for her composed approach to litigation and her ability to navigate emotionally charged disputes with both compassion and precision. Clients value her steady advocacy and commitment to protecting their interests during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
Outside of the courtroom and office, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
