Jakob Braun, Esq. is a Litigation Attorney at the Tampa office of Melone Hatley, P.C. Jakob brings a strong foundation in civil litigation and client advocacy to his family law practice. Known for his thorough preparation and practical approach, Jakob helps clients navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions, from contested divorce cases to complex custody and support matters. He now serves as a dedicated family lawyer as one of our Tampa attorneys.
Before joining Melone Hatley, Jakob represented clients across a wide range of civil disputes, gaining valuable courtroom experience and honing his skills in motion practice, discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation. His background managing these cases taught him the importance of strategic planning, attention to detail, and communication, qualities that now define his approach to family law as a trusted Tampa-area family lawyer.
Jakob earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, he completed internships and externships with the Middle District of Florida Federal Court, the University of South Florida Athletic Compliance Office, and Stetson’s Veterans Law Institute, where he worked with veterans seeking justice through the appeals process.
Whether advocating in court or negotiating fair resolutions, Jakob’s focus remains the same – protecting his clients’ families, finances, and future with steady guidance and skilled representation. Jakob’s expertise as a divorce attorney makes him an excellent resource for clients navigating family lawyer and related legal services.
