Attorney Bio

Brandon joined the firm in April 2022 as a litigation attorney. He was impressed by Melone Hatley’s client-centric approach to the practice of law. Brandon works side-by-side with his clients to help them navigate through the difficulties involved in family law matters. His practice covers all facets of family law, from prenuptial agreements to contested and uncontested divorces, equitable distributions of property, child and spousal support issues, and adoptions. Brandon compassionately listens to his clients’ goals, helps them set realistic expectations, and works with his clients to develop strategies that offer them resolution and relief.

Brandon attended law school at night while working full-time for a big-law firm in Washington, DC. While in law school, he competed in several moot court competitions and served as executive editor for the law school’s Journal of Law, Economics & Policy. Brandon also participated in the George Mason American Inn of Court while in law school, where he worked with local judges and practitioners to develop and lead lectures on various legal topics.

When not working diligently to resolve his client’s needs, Brandon and his wife, Robin, can usually be found keeping up with their two energetic young daughters. Brandon also practices martial arts in his free time, and volunteers with the Reston Association supporting habitat restoration, watershed cleanups and other workday projects.
