Christa Adkins

Christa was born and raised in Hampton Roads. After moving to Miami, Christa graduated from Florida International University summa cum laude and was awarded the Political Science Award for being the top student in her major. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society in the United States. During law school, Christa participated in Florida International University College of Law’s Trial Team and competed in mock trials through the Trial Advocacy Program, as well as earned Dean’s List every semester during law school and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Complex Litigation.

Christa’s passion for family law was sparked by her appellate work in Florida, and the many winning appellate briefs she drafted, ultimately succeeding, many times over, in having trial court decisions revered. Christa returned home to Hampton Roads, where she began her legal career passionately advocating for those involved in divorce, custody, and support matters. Her devotion to family law, her clients, and her cases is unparalleled. Christa understands that divorce is a difficult decision. Her goal is to move a client through the process as seamlessly as possible, while considering those needs most important to her client.
