Ania Gatewood

Ania Gatewood joined Melone Hatley, P.C. as a Litigation Attorney after being drawn to their client focused approach and dedication of helping others who are facing life-changing situations. Ania pursued a career in family law because she has witnessed first-hand the effects of divorce and how it affects the entire family unit. It can be an emotionally devastating process and can cloud one’s judgment in determining how to proceed with next steps. Ania believes every client deserves the opportunity to have someone in their corner who can ensure the outcome of their case is equitable, not just equal.

Ania’s well-rounded experience in family law, domestic violence, and dispute resolution allows her to be a beacon of guidance and a tenacious advocate while representing her client’s interests. “I am an active listener, detail-oriented, and pride myself on effective communication,” says Ania. As a result, Ania is intentional in keeping her clients abreast of what is happening throughout their case as she works diligently to protect their best interests.

Ania is a Concord native and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Winston-Salem State University with honors, and her Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

In her spare time, Ania enjoys spending time with family, reading mystery novels, baking, and traveling with aspirations of traveling to all 50 states and 7 continents.
