Leslie Knight

Leslie J. Knight joined the firm in 2023 as a Litigation Attorney. Leslie brings over 30 years of litigation experience as a former criminal prosecutor, defense attorney and certified mediator. Leslie has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem, where she has helped families, and Courts determine what is in the child’s best interest. Leslie excels in initiating and developing creative solutions to complex legal issues and is a leader with proven decision-making and conflict-resolutions skills. She most recently received her certification as a Chrisitan conciliator where she facilitates a collaborative approach to families in crisis and conflict helping clients work through their relational and substantive issues that will help them co-parent, communicate, and find peaceful resolutions in their current situations.

Leslie has lived in Northern Virginia for over 25 years. Whatever issue has brought you to Melone Hatley, Leslie is committed to serving you with her broad skill set and expertise.

In her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving in her church community and is an avid golfer always working to sharpen her skills on the course.
